CHRISTIANS TO UNITE AGAINST COVID-19
A world day of prayer is called on Sunday 22 March at 12 noon local time.
All Christians are asked to pray at home from 12 noon to 1pm, covering the globe in 24 hours. Pray for:

1. The stop of the spread of the virus
2. The recovery of those already infected
3. Peace for the families who lost loved ones
4. Restoration of the economies of the world
5. Wisdom for the governments who have to manage the outbreak.
   Never before has there been a reason to call ALL Christians around the world to a global day of prayer against a threat that affects the entire world.
   Please let everyone know.
   Let’s blanket the world in prayer.

Dear All, though our prayer meeting scheduled is cancelled, nonetheless, we will still pray – either personally, or with ur family, or with whoever you wish. Our prayers include:

1. our Archbishop – as he leads the whole diocese, and the Province, in the work of the gospel; esp., in a challenging time like now. Pray tt he may stay healthy, be given the wisdom and boldness tt he needs. Pray for his fmly too;
2. our church – we are facing a situation like never before – worship Services and church activities have stopped. Pray tt we will be united in our hearts, be faithful to our Lord Jesus, and be loving to others (and not just care for ourselves, as we are all tempted to do in this situation);
3. our country – for our leaders as they make decisions tt will affect d whole nation; the political, economic and security challenges.. Wisdom, boldness, good sense – are all needed;
4. ourselves – tt God may protect us from harm, sin and danger; tt we be diligent wth personal hygiene; and tt we learn not to ‘live by bread alone”. We need God and His words. We need one another.
5. all healthcare workers – doctors, nurses, assistants, etc. Some of whom are our church members. They are in the front-line. Pray for their families too; esp., those wth young chldn.other prayer needs.
6. other prayer needs.
   “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14
   

“the LORD appeared to him at night. He said to him, “I have heard your prayer, and I accept this Temple as the place where sacrifices are to be offered to me. Whenever I hold back the rain or send locusts to eat up the crops or send an epidemic on my people, if they pray to me and repent and turn away from the evil they have been doing, then I will hear them in heaven, forgive their sins, and make their land prosperous again. I will watch over this Temple and be ready to hear all the prayers that are offered here,”

Tidak kira apa pun pergelutan emosi yang anda sedang hadapi dan perangi hari ini, jika anda menggunakan kebijaksanaan Firman Allah dan kuasa Roh Kudus, anda pasti akan memenangi apa-apa pergelutan yang dihadapi. Anda tidak lagi menjadi mangsa ledakan emosi tetapi anda lebih daripada pemenang disebabkan kerana kasih Kristus yang besar untuk anda.

Terdapat satu pepatah yang dihargai, yang turut menenangkan hati orang Kristian dalam keadaan dures dan tragedi, “Masa menyembuhkan semua luka.”

Saya ingin katakan dengan kuat – SAYA MEMBANTAH! Masa tidak memiliki kuasa penyembuhan. Hanya Allah memiliki kuasa penyembuhan! Saya kenal wanita yang pahit dan marah sekarang seperti 10 tahun lalu. Masa tidak menyembuhkan jiwa mereka. Saya kenal wanita yang suka menyalahkan orang lain pada hari ini seperti 30 tahun lalu. Masa tidak menyembuhkan wanita yang letih dan serak ini.

Hanya Yesus memiliki kuasa penyembuhan dan jika anda patah hati dan inginkan penghiburan, anda mesti mencari hadirat-Nya di mana mukjizat berlaku bukan kerana masa, tetapi kerana Dia. Adakah anda membenarkan kemesraan yang memelihara, yang diberikan-Nya khususnya kepada orang yang hancur hati untuk menyembuhkan hati anda hari ini?

Tiada orang yang boleh menyembuhkan hati yang hancur kecuali Tuhan. Kata-kata orang lain akan mendorong anda dan membawa sedikit penawar hati tetapi penyembuhan muktamad sentiasanya daripada Tuhan. Perbuatan baik boleh menghilangkan kepedihan hati yang hancur, tetapi hanya Tuhan yang boleh memberikan sentuhan penyembuhan dalam kehidupan anda. Dia memiliki kuasa, kasih dan kemahiran ilahi untuk betul-betul menyembuhkan anda daripada penderitaan luar biasa yang anda alami.

Allah berupaya memulihkan jiwa anda dan melakukan pemindahan hati rohani jika itulah yang diperlukan untuk menjadikan anda sihat dan berharapan semula. Ini kelihatan mustahil apabila anda mengalami hati yang hancur tetapi ia tidaklah mustahil bagi Allah! Kehendak Allah sentiasalah pemulihan dan penyembuhan.

Kita mudah memahami konsep yang Roh Kudus berusaha untuk sampaikan melalui pemazmur dalam frasa, ” – membalut luka mereka.” Gambaran yang diberikan melalui bahasa Ibrani adalah ilustrasi yang indah tentang seorang tukang jahit yang membaiki dan menjahit sesuatu yang koyak dengan lemah lembut. Jika hati anda hancur, kawan, saya mengenali Seseorang yang berkemahiran pakar untuk membaikinya dengan senang dan sempurna. Dia bukan sahaja berupaya membaiki hati hancur anda, malah berhasrat untuk melakukan itu.
